Objective

Students
- can assess and develop their professional competence in accordance with the challenges of working life
- can apply health and welfare strategies to the work of public health nurses and management
- are able to work in multi-actor work groups and networks as well as manage their activities as experts of public health nursing
- are capable of decision-making in unexpected situations and in diverse operating environments
- can develop the quality of public health nursing considering evidence-based practices and utilize quality recommendations in their wor
- can estimate costs and the effectiveness of preventative work and early intervention in public health nursing
- can develop their work community skills in public health nursing and their management and development
- understand the possibilities of entrepreneurship to public health nursing
- can increase their evidence-based development, innovation and research competence in their expert task of health promotion.

Location and time

Students must confirm their attendance for a course implementation by being present when tuition begins or in another manner agreed with the lecturer; for example, by returning the first course assignment. Students who are unable to attend the first teaching session due to illness may also confirm their attendance by informing the lecturer of this in advance.
