Objective

Students
- understand the growth and developmental processes of children and young people
- know how to plan, implement and evaluate acutely and chronically ill children’s and young persons’ care and support the participation of the child, young person and family in care
- can encounter disability and understand its social and ethical significance.

Care of a newborn baby and nursing of premature babies
