Objective

Students will work independently in various environments of elderly care. They will be able to theoretically and critically analyse their own actions. They will evaluate the development needs of elderly care and be able to improve services, the quality of operations and performance in partnership with a multi-professional working community. They will be adequately equipped to work as members of the multi-professional teams and as experts in their constantly changing field of study. Students will learn the skills and competences required to lead working communities and demonstrate the ability to work as immediate supervisors.

Content

Work placement in different units of elderly care, based on the student’s competence objectives (15 credits). Leading and developing elderly care services. Self-assessment of professional development.

Harjoitteluinfo-materiaali Moodlessa: Vanhustyön johtamisen ja kehittämisen harjoittelu (SXC18K2), kurssiavain: Johtamisenkevät2021.
Harjoitteluinfo 14.1. klo 8.30-9.30 etäyhteydellä
Harjoitteluun kuuluu kaksi pienryhmätapaamista 10.2. ja 8.3. sekä harjoittelun purkupäivä 6.4. klo 9-14

Opiskelijan tulee osallistua kaikkiin harjoitteluun liittyviin ohjauksiin hyväksytyn suorituksen saavuttamiseksi. Poissaolot korvataan sovitusti.
Mikäli opiskelijalla on erityisen tuen päätös, joka vaikuttaa opintojakson suorittamiseen, tulee opiskelijan olla opintojakson vastuuopettajaan yhteydessä heti opintojakson ilmoittautumisajan päätyttyä.

- find out the safety instructions concerning a word assignments and to act accordingly
