Objective
Students familiarize themselves with orthotic needs regarding the most common illnesses and deficiencies. Students describe the use of long lower limb orthoses and justify their choice. Students become competent in individual measurements and manage the fabrication process of long lower limb orthoses under supervision. Students learn to fit the product and give instructions on its use. Students compare the functional starting point with the end-product from professional viewpoints.
