Objective

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Analyse the impact of society’s activity and economic conditions on the production of services
- Act according to the legislation that directs the arrangement, production and supervision of social and healthcare services
- Adhere to core principles and criteria of business and financial management in different service environments
- Develop business services in care of older people

- Marketing, productising and competitive bidding of expertise and services in care of older people
- Financial management and cost accounting in care and services of older people

The student knows how to:
? Define and explain the significance of society and economy on the production of care and services of older people
? Act in a manner required by social and healthcare legislation and the ethical principles of care of older people and equality
? Describe the principles and conditions for marketing, productising and competitive bidding of expertise and care and services of older people
? Identify and describe financial management skills, as well as the importance of business and entrepreneurship skills in organising and producing services for the older people

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student knows how to:
- Analyse and justify the importance of society and economy on the production of care and services of older people
- Analyse and apply social and healthcare legislation and the ethical principles of care of older people and equality in care and services of older people
- Analyse and apply the principles of marketing, productising and competitive bidding of expertise and care and services of older people in their activity
- Analyse and apply financial management skills, as well as business and entrepreneurship skills in organising and producing services for the older people
