Objective
Students learn to design, implement, control and develop operations of manufacturing and service companies. Students will become familiar with methods and tools of forecasting, sales and operations planning, layout and capacity management, production and job scheduling and quality control. They will learn to recognize the production/service types and strategies and how to measure operations performance. They will learn the main ideology and tools used in different approaches of operations improvement.

Individual coursework 70 % consisting of:
- Cases and exercises related to lectures, reading and field trips
- Participation at LEAN GAME workshop and individual assignment based on the workshop
- Participation at SAP Production Planning workshops and assignment related to these
Group case assignment 30 %
