Objective

The student is able to name the most common surface materials used in interior design. The student is able to define materials suitable for different applications based on their qualitative properties, usability and sustainability. The student recognises the processing steps of materials and surface treatment techniques. The student is able to make a surface plan for the space and to prepare work specification.

The student has partially achieved the objectives of the course. The student outlines a selection of the most common surface materials used in interior design.
He outlines what materials are suitable for different uses of the interior. The student knows the importance of surface material design as part of a high-quality design work. During the course, the student is able to take into account the suitability of different surface material alternatives in his / her own work.
He has completed the duties approved.

The student has achieved the objectives of the course well. The student is familiar with the selection of the most common surface materials used in interior design. He knows what materials are suitable for different indoor uses. The student knows and understands the importance of surface material design as part of a high-quality design result. During the course, the student is able to take into account the suitability of different surface material alternatives in his / her own work and use them appropriately. He has completed the tasks of the course successfully and has been able to apply the lessons learned in completing them.

The student knows and masters the selection of the most common surface materials used in interior design. He understands what materials are suitable for different indoor uses. The student has an in-depth understanding of the importance of surface material design as part of a high quality design outcome.
