Objective

After completing the course, the students are able to:
• utilize women's body dimensions to design skirts and trousers.
• take into account differences in body types when designing skirts and trousers.
• shape patterns of skirts and trousers.
• take into account the methods and processes of the clothing industry when planning the manufacture of the above-mentioned clothing.
• apply their expertise in identifying quality clothing.
• use ready-made patterns to make a garment measurement table in basic size.
• use their problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills in the product team, product development process and related decision-making.

Content

The communal processes of garment manufacturing. Designing patterns for women's trousers and skirts based on body dimensions and measurements. Designing and patterning well-fitting trousers and skirts using the agreed patterning system. Producing high-quality products in teams. Drawing up a measurement table based on a ready-made garment and patterns.
