Objective

The course supports the process of the professional growth. The student identifies his/her own competences and is able to plan a professional development path according to his/her own strengths and development goals. The student is aware of the study-related motivational and stress factors and is able to apply suitable stress management methods. The student recognizes and analyzes his/her current competences and anticipates future skill requirements in relation to the demands of the cultural management operating environment. The student is able to share his/her expertise with other professionals and identify required skills in a team or organization. The student is able to use literature to study and consolidate his/her professional identity.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student can visualize himself/herself as an actor moving in the field of cultural management. The student can describe his/her strengths and weaknesses and plan his/her own study path. The student is able to search for professional literature and distinguish the key principles as well as relationships between topics and meanings in his/her line of specialization in writing.

The student can evaluate his/her own place as an actor in the field of cultural management. He/she can use the course material when developing his/her own competence. The student can plan his/her own study path. The student utilizes professional literature and is able to distinguish the key principles of his/her line of specialization in writing. The student uses key concepts correctly and is able to provide supporting arguments for his/her viewpoints.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student identifies his/her competences and role as a future actor in the field of cultural management on various levels. The student is able to analyze his/her own competences in relation to the requirements of the field. The student acknowledge his/her own competence in multifaceted way and his/her role as professional actor in the field of culture. He/she can analyze his/her own competence and relate it to demand. The student can independently use the course material to develop his/her own study skills and apply the information gained during the course to build one’s own path in studies and profession. The student is able to utilize professional literature comprehensively and critically analyze both information from literature and observations from the field.
