Objective

In a work oriented business project, the students will deepen their professional expertise in the field fo design. The students will enhance their understanding of the profession and they will have a versatile understanding of the possibilities offered in the work life. The students will be able to work in co-operation with the customers and they will master the methods of project work from planning to execution. The students will learn to set a project timetable and will be able to expedite the process and improve the productivity of the project. The students will be able to argue/justify the used solutions and present plans in a professional manner. The students will be able to produce relevant project material either individually or as team members.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to carry out a customer project and knows the basic methods of project work. They are capable of working in a team and their take part in the project group in a satisfactory way. The produced material, argumentation and presentation skills are on a satisfactory level.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to take part in a customer project and successfully uses appropriate methods. Teamworking is successful and their role in the team is active. The produced material, argumentation and presentation skills reach a high level.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students master the methods related to co-operating with customers and the methods of project work. The students will take an active role in the project group carrying out the project successfully and they have excellent communication skills. The students are able to produce high quality material where the customer's business, resources and the strategy are considered. The students' argumentation and presentation skills reach a level of excellency.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The students are able to carry out a customer project and know the basic methods of the project work. They are capable of working in a team and their role and activities in a team are satisfactory. The produced material, argumentation and presentation skills reach a satisfactory level.
