Objective

Students know the equipment of live performance lighting systems. They know the properties, potential uses, operational principles and special requirements of the relevant devices. Students are able to accurately interpret lighting system documentation. Students are aware of the inherent safety risks and take them into account while using the systems.

- Introduction to moving lights and their technical qualities

- Symbols and markings in lighting documentation
- Safety risks and practices

Students know the specialist terminology and use it correctly. Students know the relevant safety practices. Students are able to find further information on lighting engineering. Students can follow the given instructions in live projects.

Students are well versed in the concepts and fundamental knowledge of lighting engineering. Students are safety-oriented and they are able to act independently in lighting projects. Students master the principles of technical planning and know how to apply them in practice.
