Objective

The students have an overview of work safety as a whole, and its regulatory base in live performance productions from the point of view of organisation and leadership. They are familiar with the responsibilities and processes in work safety and workers' protection. The students understand the significance of well-being at work, both in their own activities as well as in the activities of the organization The students are acquainted with risk assessment and control processes and practices. The students actively advance the safety culture in their own work and / or in the workc community, as well as risk assesment and risk control. The students are acquainted with the fundamentals of safety and crisis communication.

The students have a wide understanding of both work safety and worker protection as a whole and the related regulations. They understand the risk assesment ant risk control process and can use the related concepts in a professional manner. The students can observe, report and advance safe activities in their own work and/or in the work community. The students are well familiar with the principles of safety and crisis communication.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students have a wide understanding of both work safety and worker protection as a whole and the related regulations. They understand the risk assesment ant risk control process and can use the related concepts in a professional manner. The students can observe, report and advance safe activities in their own work and/or in the work community in a progressive way. The students are well familiar with the principles of safety and crisis communication. They advance safe activity and are able to improve safe conditions live performance productions.

Qualifications

Safety in live performance engineering course or similar comptencies. In addition, the participants need to be familiar with the use of live performance engineering technology in diverse use environments, and have basic knowledge and skills related to the use and work practices of live performance engineering systems.
