Objective

Students understand the role of acoustics in sound production environments. They know the theoretical basis of acoustics and they are able to apply the basic concepts and terminology in practice. Students are able to apply their specialized knowledge to acoustic assessment.

Students understand the elemental theory of Western tonal music. They know the most common sound and music production software, as well as the relevant standards and communication protocols. Students are proficient in using at least one music production program and means to deepen their expressive use of sound through generative audio.
