Objective
After the course, the students can:
• meet the needs set for dressing up and dressing children of various ages.
• design appropriate products for children and the young.
• apply the standards for children’s wear in practice.
• apply their competence when recognizing a high quality garment for children and the young.
• use problem solving, co-operation and communication skills in the product team in the development process of the garment and related decision making.
Content
Different stages of development for children; social, psychological and physical challenger for dressing, being dressed and image of the garment. The supply for children’s wear on the markets. Standards of children’s wear. Designing a children’s collection taking into account the view point of the co-operating company.
