Objective

After the course, the students:
• understand the garment and its influence in the environment during its life cycle.
• outline the various ethical questions related to outsourcing the production.
• can use and interpret various standards and systems related to societal responsibility.

Content

The environmental effects of the manufacturing processes, using and ending the use of the product. Life cycle analyses. Environmental certificates and recycling materials. Human globalization from the point of view of clothing, work conditions of subcontracting, using child labor and forced labor.
