Objective

After the course, the students:
• outline the effect different coloring and finalizing methods have on the qualities and the outlook of the fabrics and garments.
• know the factors and various possibilities affecting the maintenance of the garments
• master varied trade names of the fabrics
• recognize registered commercial materials and special textiles

Content

Various industrial colorings, prints, and finalizing processes and the equipment as well as the products created with them. The washing process and detergents. Trade names, registered materials. Their properties and appropriate uses.
