Objective

After the course, the students:
• know the fundamentals of vector and raster graphics
• can use the lay-out program to finalize and compile the work
• know image styles used in the field.
• can plan and prepare the images and other presentation material needed in the profession.
• can use their own style in visual performances and bringing their style up when making choices.
• have different approaches to portfolios
• evaluate the needs and special requirements for portfolios used for various purposes
• produce high quality learning portfolio or a professional portfolio as both a written and visual product, which is of high quality and meets the set requirements.

Content

Basics of vector graphics. Basics of pixel graphics. Cross-section pictures. Creating different pictures and texts for the portfolio. Experimenting with style and typography. Printing and different print materials.
Portfolio as a tool for recognizing one’s competence and development. Different types of portfolios. Compiling and collecting a portfolio. Assessment meeting for all participants.
