Objective

After the course, the students:
• master their physical and social study environments and the student services offered by Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
• know the key rules, regulations, and study practices at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
• can utilize learning environments in the studies. They can formulate a professional goal to form the basis of future studies.
• outline the global operating environment, responsibility and future predictions in the field of clothing and fashion
• understand the importance of team work as the basis of a clothing business.

Equipment and local area network; data acquisition technology. Information security,
data protection and copyrights. E-mail. The operational environment of Internet studies at Metropolia. Requirements and practices of the University of Applied Sciences; University of Applied Sciences as a study community. Physical and social environment, security. The services offered by the University of Applied Sciences: guiding and consulting; the student’s union; well-being; the library; services in information and communications technology.
