Objective
The student knows the historical periods and the basic stylistic characteristics of the European architecture from medieval times to 1960´s. The student is able to identify stylistics features, details, materials and construction techniques of the same. The student understands the context and the impact of historical styles and periods on the subsequent times. The student knows the basics of the history of Finnish architecture and is able to identify different historical periods, details and materials in historical buildings.
