Objective

After completing this course, students know the concepts and methods of generative and algorithmic design. Students are able to use generative and algorithmic modeling software in their design work and utilize the modeling data in manufacturing products and producing XR content. Students recognize the future possibilities and research applications of artificial intelligence in modeling.

Content

During the course students will familiarize themselves with algorithmic 3D modeling.

- generative and algorithmic modeling
- history of generative and algorithmic modeling
- examples of the utilisation of generative design
- artificial intelligence in modeling and related future visions
