Objective

The student will have the basic knowledge of scientific research methodology in the field of arts and culture with the specific emphasis on cultural heritage research. The student is able to deepen her/his professional, R&D, argumentation and data management skills. The student knows the research methods and understands how the research problem, research strategies and data and analysis methods are interrelated. The student is able to identify and describe the data collecting and analysis methods of conservation research. The student is able to choose, apply and evaluate the issues addressed in the methods by and abide by the ethical principles of scientific research.
The student is able to identify and evaluate the need of R&D in the field of conservation. The student is able to choose the relevant approach and methodology for his/her final thesis. The student is able to gain scientific research data from both national and international resources for his/her final thesis. The student is able to make her/his final thesis as a process and with quality.
