Industrial Management Master's programme is based on Bachelor's degree in engineering. The aim is to build and improve professional competences related to understanding of the global operating environment and constructing innovative business models for service business. Business case analysis is used to transfer best practice from a field to another.
The one-year programme broadens the engineering view to take a business and management persective to a technology operation. Master's Thesis helps the company to solve a problem based on relevant company data and best practice from literature and leading experts. The participant studies in a multi-cultural group, simultaneously developing team and management communication skills.
The trainers are university lecturers, practical experts and doctorate level trainers. The programme serves especially the private sector, but also public sector employees.
Industrial Management Master’s program is a one-year program with 60 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits. The program content is build a holistic, Total Project Learning approach, which means that the instructed courses are interrelated, interconnected, and complementary to each other, and are studied in multiple pedagogical modes.
The program is committed to improving the professional competences of each participant to Master's level, EQF level 7. Study activities are built to promote these three main competence areas:
1. Research and process development skills;
2. Management communication skills and
3. Self, team and organizational leadership skills.
