Business Informatics is a Master’s degree programme for professionals in business or ICT who want to deepen their strategic and managerial expertise through improved information management and better use of business intelligence systems.
Deeper insight into business management areas such as accounting, management and leadership, logistics, or marketing, is offered, each linked to the corresponding ICT systems.
The student will become a competent analyzer and user of business intelligence in decision-making, in business operations as well as in business development. The scope of studies is international.
The Master’s Degree Programme in Business Informatics consists of
• advanced professional studies, 15 ECTS
• alternative advanced professional studies, 10 ECTS from a set of choices
• elective studies 5 ECTS
• Master’s Thesis 30 ECTS
Each student plans and implements a development project in/for real business life, typically for their work organization. In doing so, the student’s research, project and change management skills will be enhanced. Networking, team and negotiation skills also improve in the multi-cultural, tied-to-business setting in which this Master’s DP is carried out. This R&D project will be reported as a Master’s Thesis (30 ECTS).
