Objective

Student
- can apply their knowledge of the most common cancers when implementing nursing care for cancer patients
- is proficient in the process of caring for a cancer patient
- is competent in the key methods used in cancer care
- is competent in patient guidance in cancer and palliative care
- can implement symptomatic and humane palliative and hospice care
- is able to make an end-of-life care plan in cooperation with the patient and their loved ones, the treating physician and other members of a multidisciplinary team
- is able to interact with and support patients and their loved ones in difficult life situations
- understands the basic pathophysiology of cancers
- is proficient in the drug therapy process for cancer and palliative care patients.

Qualifications

Medical Nursing Competence. Basic knowledge of Pharmacotherapy.
