Objective

The student will deepen his/her understanding about the recombinant DNA technique. The student will familiarize him/herself with the basics of bioinformatics and learn to use different software programmes to analyse sequences and structures.

• Concepts of bioinformatics. The most important biological data banks. The search, analysis and comparison of DNA and protein sequence.
