The student knows the main components and principles used in manufacturing systems.

The student can use devices and systems in the automation laboratory to solve various production automation problems.

Content

1. Principles and use of common sensors in manufacturing industry
2. Use of PLCs in production systems
3. Robots in manufacturing applications
4. Use of simulation in system planning and analysis

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student has made all laboratory works acceptably and all laboratory reports are accepted.

Student has made all laboratory works well and all laboratory reports are prepared carefully.
