Objective
On completion of the course the student will be able to
- estimate the time and moisture related behaviour of wood structures
- describe the fire technical behaviour of wood structures
- list the primary uses of wood structures and different structural solutions
- define load combinations in the limit state approach of wood structures
- calculate a simple bent wood structure
- calculate a simple nailed joint
