Cultural Activities in the Third SectorLaajuus (4 ECTS)

Objective

The objective is to familiarize the student with cultural activities, actors and future trends of development in the third sector.

The student will be familiar with the main actors and principles of activity of the third sector of culture in his/her own area of specialization and will gain an understanding of the significance of the third sector, the extent of its activities and opportunities for future development.

The ideological basis of associations and their work

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows key actors on the third sector especially on his/her specialization area of culture and knows how to found an association and knows the basis of organize the activities of the association.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student will be familiar with cultural activities of the third sector, the extent of its activities and opportunities for future development. The student will be familiar with the life-span of association activities: the founding of an association, the organization of activities in practic and the legislation regarding association activities.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student knows key actors on the third sector especially on his/her specialization area of culture. The student understands his/her own role as developer of the field of culture. The student is familiar with basics of association based work and acknowledges its possibilities and limitations.
