Fundamentals of Sound DesignLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

Students comprehend the connection between sound design and content expression. They can articulate the main points of their own sound design and identify and analyze the relevant means of sound expression in a completed film. Students can interpret a screenplay and express their thoughts concretely. In the pre-production phase, students are able to concretize their ideas and plans for creating the soundtrack for a film. Students can break down the screenplay and specify the elements that significantly influence the technical sound production process and sound expression.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation.
