Objective

The students will learn about the commonest tools used in digital illustration. They will also learn to create images in an electronic environment that underline the message that is conveyed. The students will also deepen their understanding of colour and space composition and be able to apply this to digital images.

- Perspective
- Additive colour mixture
- Importance of colour and composition in illustration
- File formats and use of programs separately and in combination
- Creation of commercial image

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Student has command of core course content and programs used. Student passes the assignments. Student has participated actively in classes.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In addition to the satisfactory level student has completed course assignments in time and with good quality.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In addition to the good level student is able to apply the skills acquired and has completed course assignments with excellent quality.
