Publication Series DesignLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

The students deepen their understanding of fonts used in publication graphics and of typographical details. The students will understand the different functions and genres of books, and the effect these have on book design. They will become familiar with the tradition of book design and the key methods employed in book design. The students will also know about the special requirements of graphic technology and apply them in practice. The students will also learn about the special requirements of designing a publication series.
