Basics of Multimedia and ProgrammingLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

Having completed this course, the students will have gained an understanding of the work process in multimedia productions. They will also be able to compile any necessary project documentation and will know how a multimedia application is designed with respect to the customer and target group. They will also be able to compile, program, test and publish multimedia presentations for various purposes and know the properties, pros and cons and potential of web communication.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Student has command of core course content and tools and programs used. Student passes the assignments. Student has participated actively in classes.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In addition to the satisfatory level student has completed course assignments in time and with good quality.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In addition to the good level student is able to apply the skills acquired and has completed course assignments with excellent quality.
