Objective

After completing the course:
- Student will know the characteristic features of different time periods.
- Student will identify and acknowledge the authenticity of costumes and their possible alterations.
- Student will be able to acknowledge the historical impact and its special characteristics in her/his conservation work.

- Overview to general costume history.
- Development and history of costume and development of dressing.
- Different periods and characteristic features of dressing.
- Impact of fashion to the development of dressing.
