Objective

Learning objectives:

Upon completion the student will learn the stages of design process and is able to recognise the role of a designer in product development and business operations and will learn about the factors affecting product design. He/she will learn to recognise designing problems, solve these problems and justify the solutions he/she has performed when designing.

-project work within design
-design process as part of product development
-acquiring background information for a design process, analysing data unsupervised and utilising the data in probelm solving situations
