Objective

After completing the course, the students are able to
· recognize the central principles and activities of circular economy, and its benefits from
environmental, social and economic viewpoints
· analyze and develop production processes, products and organizations using circular economy
thinking and tools
· apply circular economy development activities in their professional field

Content

principles and activities of circular economy from the point of view of sustainable development, benefits and advantages of circular economy to the society and organizations, circular economy standard and the stages of development activities, business models of circular economy

Kickoff on Tuesday the 19th of January 2021 at 1 pm

Contact lesson on Tuesday the 9th of February 2021 at 1 pm

Group work presentations and feedback on Tuesday the 9th of March 2021 at 1 pm

Teaching methods

Online course in Moodle: mostly independent study with weekly quizzes and tasks.

In Teams "Basics of Circular Economy 2021"-team: kickoff, contact lesson, group work and presentations.
