Objective

Knowledge and understanding:
The students will know some basic concept and algorithms of wireless localization. They also will know an application of wireless communication.

Skills:
The students will be able to understand measurement method of Wi-Fi strength using own PC.

Additional content:
Creating a radio map on the campus and an indoor localization application.

Assessment methods and criteria

Daily exercises assigned on the course are worth 50% and both a report and products about wireless radio map on the campus.

Qualifications

Basic programing and wireless communication skills, for example C#, java or python and OSI reference model, Wi-Fi, and so on. It is preferable to have basic Physics, for example, Electromagnetics. It is better to prepare own laptop PC.
