The student can solve pressure loss calculations. The student will be familiar with pumps and blowers. Student will be familiar with heat exchangers.

Basics of Fluid Mechanics and Engineering Thermodynamics

-Calculation of pressure loss
-Pumps and blowers characteristics
-Pipings and pressure loss
-External flow, drag and lift
-Basics of Heat exchangers
The student can solve simple pressure loss calculations.
The student is familiar with a different kind of pumps and blowers and knows affinity laws.
The student can calculate simple pressure loss in a piping system and choose correct pump or blower for it.
