Objective

After completion of this course the student understands how the quantum physical view leads to applications seen in modern information technology. The student knows about the electrical and physical properties of common sensors used in measuring physical quantities. Additionally the student learns about various real-life applications of sensors.

In addition to the in-depth management of the course contents, the student shows also capability and motivation to exploit the acquired knowledge into independent development of competence.
