Objective

Students know how to interview their patient, implement examination routines and treat the patient. Student observes a qualified osteopath at their work and their student colleagues in small groups. Student takes part in planning, acting and developing the quality of osteopathic practise. Students can work in the office of Positia and carry out duties at the reception. They are able to act as members of the work community and assess their own development.

Content

Observation of a qualified osteopath and student colleagues. Interview skills. Observation skills. Palpation skills. Examination routines. Manual treatment. Analysis of posture. Working at the reception. Marketing. Cooperation skills. Self-reflection.

Materials

Student is using all previous courses material; anatomy, physiology, functional anatomy, patophysiology, and so on.
