Objective
Students will be able to identify and evaluate important development needs of working life and the clients who use their services. They will have a command of the premises and concepts of R&D and service design, and be able to apply them in the service and product development processes of their fields of study. Students will know how to search for, critically evaluate and justify the appropriate research data and professional codes of conduct for their areas of study. They will be able to think critically, know the basics of concept and theory formulation, and understand the significance of the theory of knowledge to development work. Students will base their activity on good ethical standards in R&D.

Materials
Osoitetaan Moodle-alustalla. Sisältää myös nauhoitettuja verkkoluentoja.
Teaching methods
Verkkokurssi, suoritetaan kokonaan Moodle-alustalla. Alusta auki 3.6.19-31.7.19. Opintojakson alussa yhteisiä keskusteluja ajalla 3.6.-17.6.. Opintojakso on siis aloitettava heti kesäkuun alussa, keskustelut ovat pakollisia.

Exam schedules
Verkkotentti Moodlessa. Saa uusia 2 x kolmen päivän välein. Hyväksytty suoritus 50% oikein (hyväksytty/hylätty arviointi).
Myös uusinnat tehtävä ennen 31.7., jolloin Moodle sulkeutuu.

Content scheduling
Opintojakson alussa ryhmäkeskustelut Moodlessa (3.6.-17.6.). Vaaditaan aktiivista osallistumista, materiaaleihin tutustumista ja kommentointia tietyn aikarajan puitteissa.
Keskustelut arvioidaan hyväksytty/hylätty.
Yhteisen tekemisen jälkeen tehdään yksilötehtävät, joista isompi oppimistehtävä arvioidaan arvosanalla 0-5.
Kaikki suoritukset palautettava viimeistään 31.7., jolloin Moodle sulkeutuu.
Opettajat arvioivat suoritukset palattuaan lomalta, viimeistään elokuun loppuun mennessä. Arviointipäivämääräksi merkitään 31.7., jolloin opinto luetaan kesäopinnoksi.

Kurssille otetaan 30 opiskelijaa ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä tutkinnoista apuvälinetekniikka, jalkaterapia, optometria, osteopatia, toimintaterapia ja vanhustyö. Avoin amk paikkoja 2. Ei ennakkovaatimuksia.

Pienryhmäkeskustelut arvioidaan hyv/hyl, samoin muut oppimistehtävät, paitsi isompi oppimistehtävä (oman alan tehtävä) arvioidaan arvosanalla.
