Make sure you arrive on time for the lab sessions and simulation training - and wear your FULL lab clothing!
Orientation lecture, lab sessions and simulations is mandatory!
The grade is decided based on the result of the national EMS exam. Active participation might affect the grade. Excellent performance in the simulation tests can affect the grade.
Note, that the national exam and the simulation test need to be done during the SAME SEMESTER!

(2016-2018) Clinical Nursing and Emergency Care

The entry requirements for this module are: all the basic studies and clinical practices are done. ALS course theory done.
All students are advised to join the OMA workspace "Ensihoidon valtakunnallinen tentti". All communication related to the national exam is done through that.
The advanced level emergency care module should be passed before attempting the national exam.

EMS operative management first, then lab sessions related to that. After that, lecturer-led lectures. Airway-lab after those. Pediatric labs after pediatric lectures. Emergency delivery and labs. Simulations somewhere after labs.
