Objective

Students
-can request for a consultation and make the preliminary report.
-know how to implement intermediate level pre-hospital emergency care of major patient groups independently.
-are capable of manual airway management and by means of supraglottic devices and intubation.
-read and interpret various arrhythmias and ischemic changes using the ECG.
-are proficient in authority networks and the most common data terminal equipment.

Clinical practice orientation =2h
4 simulation days possible. Atleast two simulation days mandatory = 16h (max 32h)
Independent study = 52h
Clinical practice 5 weeks = 200 hours

Content scheduling

Four simulation days in weeks X. (Student should participate at least two simulation days = Mandatory requirement)
Individual training schedule should be made so that participation in two mandatory simulation days is possible.
Weeks X are practical training in real EMS environments.
There is also a possibility to do the 5 training weeks in another time/ weeks better suited for the students schedule. Student should contact his/hers teacher if he/she plans to do so.

Further information

Student should make sure he/she is familiar with clinical practice instructions and reguirements before the actual practice begins in real EMS environment.
Student shoud also keep his/hers Jobiili CV up to date and make plans for his/hers personal goals for the practice.
