Objective
Students know the musculature of nect and trunk. Students know how to describe the consistency of blood and its physiological significance. They are able to explain the structure and function of the circulatory system, lymphatic system and respiratory
system. Students are able to perceive different structures of the body with their hands and recognise tissues by means of palpation. They can apply a suitable massage for their client using classical strokes and techniques.
Students recognise the basic factors affecting the pathophysiology of traumas, injuries and the most common illnesses. They learn to recognise the significance of these factors affecting structural and
functional cellular and tissue changes as part of the physiotherapy patient’s problems. Students acquaint themselves with the main features of the healing process from the perspective of
pathophysiology.
