Objective

Students can use the machines and equipment of prosthetics and orthotics safely and appropriately in accordance with the principles of occupational safety. Students are able to use various measurement and prototyping methods. Students work with several materials and chemicals and know how to use them appropriately. Students initiate the process of their professional development by means of self-evaluation and peer evaluation. Students document their work process. Students work in accordance with the ethical guidelines of their profession and work responsibly as members of the work community.

Students analyse the relationships between appropriate core concepts as well as justify their choices using the knowledge base of their own professional field. They analyse the prerequisites and consequences of their own actions.
Students act according to the rules and instructions given in their operating environment, and they use working methods appropriately and safely.
Students work according to the professional ethics of their own field, and they act flexibly as group members.
