Objective

The student is able to identify supplier markets. The student is familiar with the giga and mega trends in the economy and she or he is able to interpret the influence of those trends in her or his industry. The student identifies the principles in forecasting and scenario building and knows which forecasts by industry are available. The student is able to describe and analyze the targets and the competitive position of a company. She or he is able to analyze the internal and external factors which have influence on a company’s strategy.
The student is able to describe the basic stages of a company’s strategy process, the relevance of the targets and action plans and she or he can define the global sourcing of a company. She or he is able to describe the sourcing strategy of a company.
