Objective
The student is aware of various elements, dimensions and emotional aspects affecting the participants in creative group activities. They can reflect these and connect them to theoretical knowledge and literature concerning developmental psychology, music education and pedagogy. The student is able to depict different approaches and values underpinning the understanding of creativity, learning and music education. They can use the elements of music education practice when creating music activities for a group of learners and try them in practice with support from their peers and teachers. The student understands the underlying approaches of learner-centred teaching and can direct their own learning to utilise these gradually in their pedagogical actions. They can reflect their learning process and facilitate group work with their actions.

Learning occurs through participatory and creative group work, lectures, discussions, guided assignments both individually and in small groups, learning diary, written assignments based on literature and participation in the projects in collaboration with working life.
