Objective

During the course, the students will deepen their competence in the field to understand the customer, the product and the final user´s points of view in product design. The students will perceive the problematic aspects of the designed product and solve them via the tools in industrial design. The students will be able to understand the role of industrial design in optimizing production costs and the product quality. They will also learn to understand how the realities of manufacturing, materials, as well as economical and ecological demands affect the end product. The students will learn to use rapid prototyping methods and 3DCAD tools with the aim of producing product models, mock-ups and photorealistic computer graphics and renderings. The students will be familiar with CAM methods and their prerequsites on the CAD files.
