Objective

The students will know the anatomical dimensions and functions of the human body. The students will be able to express their perceptions of the human body using different drawing and painting methods and thus develop their visual expression and erconomic design skills. The students will understand the continuous sketching and using the picture as a means of thinking and designing make up a part of their professional development and identity.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to describe three-dimensional shape and space with the help of valves and colors, using various drawing and painting materials and techniques satisfactorily. The student is able to satisfactorily create and express his / her own images visually and later utilize creative pictorial thinking as part of the professional design process. The student understands continuous image making as part of observation, exploration, and thinking.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to describe three-dimensional shape and space with the help of valves and colors, using various drawing and painting materials and techniques in a variety of ways. The student is able to create and express his / her own images visually and later utilize creative pictorial thinking as part of the professional design process. The student understands well continuous image making as part of observation, research, and thinking.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to describe a wide range of three-dimensional shape and space with the help of valves and colors, using various drawing and painting materials and techniques in a variety of ways. The student is able to create and express his / her own images visually excellently and later utilize creative pictorial thinking as part of the professional design process. The student has an excellent understanding of continuous image making as part of observation, exploration, and thinking.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student knows the proportions of a person and the functionality of the body. The student is able to transfer his / her observations and images of a living model and space into a pictorial form. The student is able to apply the skills needed for visual and ergonomic design both by drawing and using colors. The student knows that continuous sketching and using an image as a tool for thinking and planning is part of professional development and identity.
