Objective
Students know the possibilities and shortcomings of commercial XR technologies and ecosystems both currently and in the foreseeable future. Students are able to produce high-quality XR content. Students can use VR and AR applications and techniques in product development and in support of various design tools. Students are familiar with future prospects and development paths of XR technologies.
Content
The course covers a wide range of XR technologies and environments like VR, AR, MR and CR. Content for XR applications will be designed and produced using and augmenting skills learned in previous courses.
- concept design and production process of an XR application (conceptualisation, scheduling, project management, resourcing)
- 3D modeling tools, XR, visualisation and VR
- XR capabilities and support in game engines
- product presentation in virtual reality
- XR technologies, VR/AR/MR
implementation of the XR application
